“I absolutely loved this magnificent home! It’s so cosy and perfect! I’d quite happily live here! The wooden furniture/features make it so homely. We ate all the pastries within 5 minutes of our arrival. You can sit in peace and quiet whilst you watch the world go by outside the window. Also, I love the cream blankets, they are so soft!”

“We stayed at the Boutique Cottage for 4 nights over Christmas, which was decorated very tastefully. Whilst the kitchen is not the biggest, it is perfectly equipped and we managed to cook Christmas dinner. Chocolates and wine were left for our arrival, along with other essentials such as bread, butter and milk. Whilst the break was for us to get away, it was nice to have Netflix on the TVs in both the lounge and bedroom. Locally, Dilly Dally almost opposite is a great tearoom, and we had a great meal at The Swan and wonderful takeaway from Youngs Chinese in Sudbury. A drive out to spend Christmas Eve at Aldburgh, and the circular walk at Lavenham on Boxing Day topped off a fantastic break.”

“Had such a lovely stay at the Boutique Cottage. It was perfect to take some time away after a busy week. From the minute you walk through the door, you feel relaxed, just like home from home. Then from the comfy beds, to the little details like the the White Company toiletries and fluffy bath robes you feel like you’re in a 5 star hotel. Our first visit to Long Melford was also great, so many lovely walks, several pubs and plenty of tea rooms meant we didn’t need to travel far during our short stay. Can’t wait to come back.”

“Wow – Hellie & Chris, the cottage really is a slice of heaven! So much thought and details has gone into the cottage. The cakes were a welcome suprise and went down well with the girls. Abigail has decided she would like to live here! You really have thought of everything. As a mum, I was delighted to see that children had also been thought of with the fab tablewear. Phew, no worries of breakages. All in all the cottage is perfection!”

“Made to feel really special as you walk in, with music playing, delicious cakes, a lovely welcome pack. Literally steps away from restaurants and pubs. The sun shines in the garden all day. They’ve thought about everything and for the pets too. All major streaming services on three tvs. Beds extremely comfortable. Toiletries are second to none and they provide robes and slippers, Dyson hair dryers. There’s nothing we could find fault with. An amazing weekend and very highly recommended.”

“Myself & my partner have just returned home after a truly amazing weekend in Long Melford at the Boutique Cottage. As an international event director my life is spent in luxury hotels around the world.
The Boutique Cottage achieved everything I expect from 5 star comfort and facilities but also achieved something rarely achieved. Having worked 70 hours on a film set arriving at the cottage at 9pm on Friday, I was beyond exhausted it took minutes to feel settled, happy, relaxed and truly spoilt with the welcome treats fizz and absolute luxury of the cottage.
