Access Statement

This is an access statement for 3 Chestnut Terrace.

This cottage is not graded in any way and all worktops, bathroom fittings beds and chairs are of standard height.

3 Chestnut Terrace has ample on street parking to the front of the property.

3 Chestnut Terrace is a completely self-contained property inclusive of all towels, linen and a welcome basket.

There are three smart televisions in the property, there is a blue tooth speaker in the dining room of the property, one in the lounge and one in each of the two bedrooms.  There is a free full Wi-Fi service at the property.

There is tourist information, suggested days out and all emergency details listed withing the information book at the property.

3 Chestnut Terrace is a three-story property with direct access from the Street into the lounge.  There is a dining room, which lead through to a small kitchen and utility area.  There is a back door leading to a garden beyond an access pathway. (shared with neighbours)

You access the property via a 6 inch step though a front door the opens inwards to the lounge area. The front door is 33 inches wide.

The dining room door is 31 inches wide, thought to the kitchen up a 3 inch step.  There is then a tight turn into the utility area with a step up of 5 inches.  The back door is 29 inches wide and then a step down of 3 inches into the back garden.

The kitchen has a hob with and oven under it.  Worktops are standard height with cupboards above.

There is a door from the dining room to the staircase, the door is 29 inches wide with a 19 inch step onto the first stair, there is then a turn in the stairs which lead to the first floor. There are a total of 12 stairs to the top floor.   The bedroom door is 31 inches wide. The first floor has one bedroom with fitted wardrobes and two window in the bedroom.  There is a super king bed (can be split into twins upon request) You can access the bed from both sides. The bedroom door is 31 inches wide.

There is a bathroom with a shower cubicle with a step of 2 inches into it.

There is also a bath, sink and toilet in this bathroom.

Along the landing another door takes you to the second floor.  The doorway is 28 inches wide.   There are 12 stairs to the top floor.

The is one bedroom has fitted wardrobes and has two windows.  It has a king size bed which can be accessed from both sides.

The door to the bedroom is 29 inches wide.

There is a small bathroom on this floor with a shower toilet and basin.  There is an area of restricted headroom in the bathroom.

There is access to a private garden through the gate slightly to your left as you come out of the back door. This is uneven ground consisting of slate, with a pathway leading to a patio area.  There is a seating area consisting of table and chairs in the garden.

There is a lockable shed at the end of the garden the houses the washer/dryer and can be used to store bikes.
